Owner, Jim Hinkel invites you to enjoy a leisurely visit while you stroll through
the gardens, showrooms, workshop and decks. Picnic along bold Roan Creek,
fish, hike, take a nature walk, birdwatch and photograph the pristine area. You
will find a garden of delights at this wonderful place.
Unique
objects for the home, garden, yard, deck and patio are displayed in a
beautiful natural setting. We have many kinds of garden art and
sculpture, bird houses and feeders, blooming flowers in rustic
containers, framed photographs
and hand painted metalware, plus
books about the high country by regional authors. All art and craft
items were lovingly handmade by local artisans.
The build up to a party evening itself is just as exciting and choosing a costume that you know is going to be a sure fire winner is part of the fun. These days it is not enough just to slap on a bit of face paint, you really need to go the whole hog and get yourself a discount costume wigs to really add to that perfect look.
The gallery is located
about seven miles east of Jefferson, North Carolina on a Scenic Byway,
NC Highway 88. There is also a big sign and the property is very
visible from the highway. Turn about 1000 feet east of the sign to the
access road across the creek. The Creekhouse Garden Gallery is open
from 9am to 5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday - April through
December.
